How The Law Of Attraction Can Work For You!

The law of attraction or LOA is real and it truly works. When the book The Secret was released, I could not wait to get my hands on it. It motivated me but I finished saying, ” Well How Do I Get This To Work?” Exploring more and more and researching and trying things on my own, I came to a conclusion, The Secret Was missing ACTION.

In my life, I use the law of attraction daily, not saying to myself, ” I am going to use the law of attraction to see if I can attract what I want.” Firstly, it is about setting your state of mind. Making a clear decision how you want and will feel for the day. If you set out with a negative state of mind, you will only attract more of that to fill your day, but if you set your state of mind as one that is open, positive, energized, you will attract more of the same as well.

Each morning, I start my day with a TO DO LIST, one that not only has the tasks that I need to accomplish that day, but on every other line, I write a positive statement, therefore, this is aiding in setting my state of mind and I am being reminded over and over again each time I cross off a task. Simple, yet powerful. I also tell myself when I awake, this will be a great day, immediately following that statement, I feel the energy coming to me that will allow me to create that great day.

Next is to set your intention. This can be difficult if you do not know what it is that you want, but by going to a quiet place and asking yourself some simple questions, this can help you set your intention.

Am I happy?
What can I do to be happier?
Am I confident?
What can I do to feel and be more confident?
Is my debt drowning me?
What steps can I take to reduce my debt?

You get the idea. If you have been floundering around not knowing what it is you want in your life, but you know it is something, it is a great idea to sit and listen to what comes to your mind. Write down what it is you want to move toward, what is your dream?

Before you put your feet on the floor in the morning, set your state and your intention. Whatever it is you intend to do that day, state it, write it down, even tell someone so you can be accountable. Something as simple as wanting to spend time with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. It does not have to be some huge far fetched thing, you want to set your intention to whatever it is you would like that day. Setting your intention should be done daily.

You can even set intentions for long periods of time away. Maybe you want to open a new business, set your intention to just that and look for all the signs that you will receive about how to go about it and work towards the goal. The Intention.

Another very important element to the Law of Attraction is attitude. You must have a good attitude. If you are thinking, ” I identified the state of mind I wanted and I set my intention, but nothing has happened.” This can be frustrating, I know, but your attitude has to be one that is positive, motivating, confident and open minded.

It comes back to the thoughts that you have. if you think you can’t, you won’t. If you think you can, you will. Your thoughts play a gigantic role in attracting what it is you want in life. Known first hand, whatever that first thought is of the day, you will have more of the like to follow, Look for the positives, not only will you attract more of them, but you will feel better and much more equipped to receive what it is you want.

You have decided what state you are in, you have set your intention, you have aligned your thoughts to positive and motivating, now you must take action.

ACTION is key to the law of attraction and everything in life. If you do all of the above and take no action, you will be where you are at this moment. Taking action is the missing link to the Secret. You have to continuously ask yourself, what is the NEXT STEP? Take things step by step until you have what it is you desire.

Let’s take myself, I always wanted to help people. I set my intention that I was going to write a book, I had never written a book before, but I had set the intention and I went step by step, I had to think of the topic, the title and the content, than I had to take steps to get it published. Step by step, I published my first book in 2005, my second one in 2009 and am working on my 3rd. I could not have done this without setting my intentions, having a positive I can do attitude and taking action, always looking and asking for the NEXT STEP.

The Law of Attraction works, it is real and it can work for you is you commit yourself to be open to all possibilities and choose your state, set your intentions, change your attitude, believe you can and take ACTION!
