Law of Attraction Not Working For You?

By admin · Monday, July 19th, 2010

Perhaps you are doing 1 of these 7 things that will totally screw it up for you.

If you are hoping to use the Law of Attraction in your favour to help you to achieve your goals and manifest the life that you really desire, these are a few tips to be avoided at all costs…

1) Negativity. It will still work (the LOA works whether you believe it or not) but unfortunately it will work in a negative way. Do instead; Keep your thoughts positive and focus on the things that you do want to attract,

2) Doing nothing. The LOA isn’t going to manifest all of your hearts desires if you don’t take any positive actions towards your goals. Do instead; Focus for a few minutes each day on your goals and think about small steps that you can take to help you to achieve them.

3) Not being specific. Getting really clear about what you want is vital if you want the Law of Attraction to work in your favour. This is just as important as avoiding negativity because if you are not clear about what you DO want you will most likely be thinking about what you don’t want (I hate this job i want a new one or I need a new car because is falling to pieces) Do instead; think in detail of what you want; I want to be promoted to Regional Manager or I want a brand new BMW.

4) Not prioritising. You can’t focus on everything at one time, so prioritise at least once or twice a day on your BIG goals, don’t just concentrate on the smaller goals.

5) Losing faith. An absolutely critical part of the LOA is faith. If you don’t believe in yourself and the process of the Law of Attraction, how can you expect to achieve your really big goals?

6) Being ungrateful. Worrying about what you don’t have is not going to move you closer to your goals. If you spend all of your time hating or resenting the things in your life, you will only attract more of the same. Do instead; find 5 things in your life that you are really grateful for and be thankful every single day. Even on a bad day! Because believe me, even on a really bad day – it could get so much worse if you act negatively.

7) Keeping it all in your head. Not writing down your goals shows that you are not really committed and that your goals are still just dreams. Think of it this way, if someone said ‘I’m going to sue you’ would you take them seriously? How about if you received a letter saying the same thing? Putting it writing makes you stand up and take notice and writing down your goals is sending a very clear signal to your mind – this is serious.
